Went to the Target today and they had a 35 (7x5) SKU set up with 30 spots for Radica and Hasbro, mostly Radica.
2 slots for the new LUNKER ($19.95) in the normal play me plastic packaging which is different from the higher end version in the box ($29.95) which was at Sharper Image etc. They had 2 hangers for Bass Fishin' and 2 for Kids fishing. Great color and while shopping mother and son were looking em over and I said the kids game was great and she replied that her husband has regular Bass and loves it.
Couple of quick comments on the games, which now sport the friendly face and endorsement of Hank Parker. The Lunker now has directional casting...which translates into...if you see a fish jump to your right you can flick you wrist in that direction and the lure lands more to the right of the pole, not just straight ahead.
Lot's of poker, bowling, golf a slot for checkers. But just over from that were 4 more hangers for the night vision games...but they are EMPTY. The stockers said they were coming in slow and in small batches. When I was in before they also had a couple of slots for Deep Sea, but didn't see any tags or products today.
I begin to worry that the company isn't keeping up with the timely shipments of goods since, at least some of us felt, that during that last week of Christmas there weren't enough items coming in to stock.
I understand the past, and the retiscense of the company to make TOO MANY...but I will check into the other biggies here and see what they have to say.
