But....you're resonding to a post from 5+ yrs ago. I did so since it was the theme of a series of post back then and I'm continuing the theme. More generally I don't see any problem with replying to old posts. I've replied to posts older than that. Maybe old posts on completely dead threads, where you give people more subject-marks/threads/whatever to deal with but why its very slow here its not totally dead, and also I don't really see that as much of a problem anyway. Maybe old posts that are completely about something that's only relevant to the moment and has no relevance later, but my post was relevant to those old posts, the old post detail specific events but they detail specific events relevent to a theme that continues to have relevance to people's lives today.
