I was thinking last night, I have always been puzzled by why you are an independent? I have read your posts for over a decade and you strike me as a run of the mill liberal. The liberals mostly live in the Democratic party. Like all of them-lol. The Independents are comprised of everything from disaffected Republicans, like George Will and Steve Schmidt, who run there when disillusioned by a party they should have seen decades earlier, to confused libertarians and low information voters. Why not just become a Democrat and be with your people-lol?
