Michael,

You, sir are so specialized that you forget to remind the folks of the basics. As particle size is reduced in a unfiorm system, surface exposure is increased exponentially. Chemical processes are increased also exponentially. We need to talk here also about the point of dimenishing return. At what mesh does the increased energy required for comutation loose economic effectiveness?

The real subject here is effective extraction. I surmise that I might be correct in saying that there is great variance with the particular ore. I will not give up on the point of diminishing return, however.

I would introduce another therm here, and that is economic. All processes must be economic. I hear about esoteric processes envolving this and that and if they are not required and are expensive, then there must be a better way.

As usual, I wax verbose and will shut up.

Scrouge, Jack
