Ike compared to Adlai Stevenson was terrible. He chose Nixon for one thing. Stevenson would have been much better. And Ike did the interstate highway system to protect us in case of war for Christs sake. Ike pretty much did nothing. He was a terrible president.

Nixon was a MONSTER and a criminal as bad as Trump.The good he did pales in comparison to the bad. And he went to China because if a dem had tried it the pubs would have accused them of being a pinko!! And the dems are as responsible for the EPA as the pubs. Everyone at the time supported it! Nixon gets no special credit.

Nixon sabotaged the Viet Nam peace offorts causing millions of people to be killed and injured over many more years of war just to win reelection. It is your failure to see the big picture that makes your comment about his support for the EPA seem trite beyond words.

We liberals got rid of LBJ and with regard to Bush you have to look at the big picture.

As regards Hillary and Kerry's vote on the Iraq war, both were sure if they did not vote for it , it would cause them defeat in the next election.
