I may be dead wrong or naive or both, but I do not buy into the suggestion that someone has some insight into the upcoming earnings report. However, I think there may be something to the suggestionm that Qdel is suffering because one of its directors, Richard C E Morgan, is also a big investor in a company, Lasertechnics (LASX), which is going through some gut-wrenching changes right now - I wouldn't be surprised if the selling today resulted in only 1 big shareholder deciding to "pull the plug" and dumping a large number of shares on the market virtually all at once, creating an unfavorable imbalance in the supply of shares for sale and driving the price below 3. Just a guess on my part - any one know a way to see how many big blocks traded today???
