My answer to that is BS .... there are some very large very successful Canadian companies .... started right here in Canada. Do you honestly believe the US has somehow cornered the market on becoming an entrepreneur. The fact is ... there are 10 times more of you than us ... so you would expect more US entrepreneurs ... that just stands to reason.

Who said anything about "free medicine" .... of course it costs money ... tax money - but the reality is - whether you want to buy it or not - our medical system is quite good - and costs significantly less to administer than the US system ... numerous studies have provent that.

When you look at outcomes ... sorry ... our system is as good - and in some cases better. As far as waiting lists go .... I do not know what you hear there - but, while you may have to wait for your new hip for a few weeks (maybe even a couple of months), that is considered a relatively minor issue for most of us. Fact is, often we have Americans coming here, particularly children, because we offer procedures that are not available there. I am sure the reciprical is also true too.

Our gas does cost slightly more ... we do wait slightly longer for some of the services .... as far as housing is concerned .... most Canadians live in their own homes.

Oh ... we have dealt with the problems ... certainly do not have solutions to all of the issues - but all things considered, we have faired quite well.
