The threat of over production should scare all C-Cube longs. It's government "quotas" , and limited data. The country is also too large for the central government to survey. Regions can be in recession and other Regions not. VCD is a consumer electronic purchase. Consumer confidence needs to be there for the sell through to be high. About 21M VCD chips were sold in 1997, most to China.
