CV gave me the ok to post our little email exchange. Based on it, the production season now makes sense to me. If it doesn’t make sense to others, speak up.

PS: Details aside, CV once again hit it out of the ballpark in terms of communication. Communication with a shareholder he knows nothing about and one who doesn’t tend to mask a pig with lipstick.

Q:

Hi again and sorry to take up your time but I am trying to get this sorted out in my own mind.

Did some internet “Brazil Growing Seasons” searches. Found some stuff along these lines

soybeansandcorn.com

which in my mind just doesn’t correlate with your April to Oct production season.

Is there a simple explanation / a (English) website which explains why there is no point in producing product between Nov and March?

Thanks,

PS: Will stage 1 change the production season with a year around enclosed production facility?

A:

Hi , we are now selling to farmers who will plant in October as soon as it starts raining. Our Soybeans/Corn customers are applying all K required for both crops now.

We could produce during those wet months mainly to build inventory. However, we would need to cover our plant and inventory area to be able to do that. We don’t have money for that. We would also need to improve the road to the mine from gravel to pavement and we certainly don’t have money for that

Q:

At the risk of asking a really stupid question ...

Your Soy/Corn customers will apply whatever SG is needed in Oct with no need to apply more until harvest. Do I have this right?

What about other crops like sugarcane, coffee etc?

You didn’t answer my PS which was: Will stage 1 change the production season with a year around enclosed production facility?

A:

Correct.

Same applies to other crops

P.S No.
