The way the phones flow through to Sony is via the "interest to minority shareholder line"

.....it is basically a subtraction of profits sent to Sony....

QCOM gets all the revenues.....that is due to the 51% ownership factor.....HUGE increase in phone sales = HUGE growth in the company....

approximately $300 is underestimating their revenues....phones are sold for probably 350-400 on average...remember, the operators subsidize the sale of phones...the phones aren't compatible with EVERY operators systems either.....due to the programming....
