Thanks, but it's hardly a breakthrough, Paul--think the LS equations were known :-)
Re checking, I tried adding a LS trendine [adjusting the start to the QP start] in MSWIN 6.0, but couldn't figure out how to read the values in the data window.

Exporting to 1-2-3 for the check was laborious but a couple matched to the 8:2 output values; need to redo scan. Note that the output from R2 is a little flaky in that need to export > 30 days to get 30.

One thing I find amazing is that R2 can so quicky churn thru the amount of code in [for example] Brooke's BPS. The short pause at the beginning of a scan hints that it is precompiling--but still amazing to me. With its speed, TSF-type calcs shouldn't pose a problem.

Gary: How about sticking a profiler in the scan IDE :-)

[edit] Happy to see Brooke confirmed that QP & MS agree--but realize that doesn't mean either one is right :-)
