TEUTON AND MINVITA ACQUIRE RIGHTS TO 119,000 HECTARES IN ZACATECAS REGION
Vancouver, BC - Teuton Resources Corp. ("Teuton") and Minvita Enterprises Ltd. ("Minvita") are pleased to announce that mineral rights to 119,000 hectares have been acquired by staking in the Zacatecas region of north-central Mexico. Of these, six concessions totaling 99,000 hectares are located in the vicinity of Western Copper-Teck's San Nicholas massive sulfide discovery, situated 65 kilometers southeast of the city of Zacatecas (see map). Five of the concessions ("El Real", "La Victoria", "La Esmeralda", "Diana" & "La Joya") are located south and southwest of the Western Copper-Teck holdings and are owned 100% by Teuton and Minvita. A sixth concession ("Borshoi") is located west of the San Nicholas discovery and is owned 80% by Teuton-Minvita and 20% by Minas Dolores.
Further claim acquisitions are in progress.
Western Copper and Teck recently announced results from the first six holes in the San Nicolas massive sulfide discovery, all of which intersected impressive thicknesses of sulfide mineralization with significant values of copper, zinc, silver and gold. An aggressive continuing exploration program is planned to commence before the end of January, 1998.
AIRBORNE GEOPHYSICAL SURVEYS BEGIN ON BUFFALO HEAD CLAIMS
Teuton and Minvita are pleased to announce that Spectra Geoscience has commenced an airborne geophysical survey over the Companies' claim holdings in the Swan Hills area, Alberta, situated within the southern portion of the Buffalo Head Craton, host to the diamond discovery of Ashton Mining-Alberta Energy-Pure Gold. In total, the Companies each own interests in more than 1.3 million acres in northern Alberta.
