Tony, aka Stockman

Since you obviously did not listen to the conference call its time for us
to bring back Alberts Fools School. I know you didn't graduate.
According to the conference call AMD has not started to borrow from the
German government those loans will start sometime this year. So lets look
at AMD's Balance sheet which should reflect all current assets
and liabilities. As you requested Plant and Equipment are tangible
long lived assets and may have their costs allocated to expenses by
depreciation over their useful lives.

Outstanding Shares = 141,770,000
marketguide.com

The book value of a share of stock is one share's equity in the corporations
net assest as recorded in the corporations accounts. Since AMD only has common stock
the book value is determined by dividing the total stockholders equity by
the number of outstanding shares.

So 2,029,543,000/141,770,000 = 14.316

I hope I didn't make this too hard.
