Okay, here's something concrete to report:

If my source is correct, the Berkley well was logged yesterday (Tuesday), which likely accounts for the strength today. Also, they intentionally drilled to the water table to ascertain its location. This doesn't make it a bust because there was water, it was expected. The water can be sealed off easy enough in an oil well, with the perforations and production testing occurring up the well. (If water comes from the formation, that's a problem) So testing and analysis will continue, followed by setting production casing, and selective perforation of the best targets.
