First Call gives two estimation for the quater ended in Dec. 1997: 0.09/0.07. This numbers were updated by 1/12/98. Today I did talk with Mr. Burke briefly. He sees no reason for the price drop and feels surprised to hear that Zack' removed the est. number for this quater. He was not willing to say anything about earning. He told me they are expanding R/D very rapidly for the glaxo/wellcome deal(respond to my question about massive hiring). He noticed some big blocks of sells traded today and said this might be from the holder(s) who involved PBI deal back in Jan 1995. I do not have any info about this purchase in front of me now. Like to see comments from some of you Q-Gurus, who posted a lot about year ago.
