Oh Neo you are still at it. I was right and you *and the world's experts* wrong about the last sunspot peak back in October 2007. I was bang on the mark. We'll know in a couple of years how right I was on 2020 foresight 2020 2019 winter predictions.

Lucky for you you didn't take the big bet I offered you.

I often try to get artificial intelligence to do something but it's still quite useless. And I didn't ask it to do something such as change the oil in my car or look after that child.

I have been on the artificial intelligence hunt for 45 years and progress is still far from the singularity. But I am sure it's doable so I will persevere as the value is stupendously fantasmogorical, which is scientific lingo for exponentially and asymptotically parabolic to hyperbolic hyperbole.

For you garden variety chimpoids that means the sky's the limit.

Wet carbon-based chemistry is just a stepping stone to the real deal just as chimps were just a stepping stone to your and my immense cognitive power.

Luddites feared the Spinning Jenny or something. The industrial revolution was going to make people obsolete. But rather than 1 billion people then, mostly in low life expectancy struggles for survival, there are now 7 billion fatties swishing around Cyberspace with their mobile supercomputers.

Even with 7 billion people there is no shortage of jobs.

We can do with a LOT of artificial intelligence because God knows there's bugger all of the regular variety...as you can see from replies to me. They don't even try to or pretend to think. Woof woof ... is about the cognitive level.
