<< but be out of the market by friday evening- the 20/20 story is too much of a variable. >>
Isn't 20/20 that show with Hugh Downs and Barbara Walters? If so, that is not a "60 Minutes" type show. Both hosts are older and will likely present a medical/scientific angle, about how new techniques are doing amaaaazing things.
I bet they interview people at the company and present the "amazing breakthrough" story.
They will probably have a token person briefly say that it may turn out to cause cancer, still needs to be tested, etc.
But at the end of the piece, Hugh will turn to Barbara and say something like, "Science keeps turning out amazing discoveries." Then Barbara will say, "It's an amazing world we live in."
The problem I see is, the show will probably have little effect on the stock. Since the major networks have already covered the story in the news, anybody who is going to jump in already has.
And of course, the demographic for Hugh Downs and Barbara is older. Doubtful the retired crowd will pull their savings and put it into such a speculative company.
But mainly, it will be old news by then. |
