The week closing 25 May was a strong week, but from then on the semis overall have been near the "Zero" line while the major indices have been doing better. The table shows the results over this 9+ week period.

The SOXM is down -2% while the SOX and SMH are up a little less than 1%. AMAT, LRCX, INTC and MU are all down over this period. The NASDAQ(+6.1%), DOW(+3.4%) and S&P-500(+5%) have been doing just fine.
