As for Muslim immigration from Middle East countries, I'm a pragmatist. The implementation of exactly the policies you and the liberals recommend in Germany, Sweden, and France, among others, has resulted in a massive increase in violent crime, isolation, and extremism in those countries, not to mention the huge strain on their welfare states and budgets. It has been a spectacular failure. Why would I wish that on the United States? I applaud Trump for having the balls to do what is right for the American People FIRST. He's the President of the United States, not the President of the World.
As for my stance on immigration in general, I'm very vociferously PRO-immigrant, especially Latin Americans who are hard working, peaceful, and mostly share our values. But I don't believe in lawlessness and I don't believe in the liberal ideology of open borders. Lawlessness and Open Borders destroys countries. What we need are immigration laws and policies that are reasonable, fast, and fair, and encourage lawFUL immigrants who pay taxes and who have no history of criminal behavior. What we do not need are people who come here illegally to steal from our country, have no intention to integrate themselves into our culture, and who get themselves into trouble because they have no protections under the law. Also, what we don't need are corporations who routinely break the law by hiring illegals and then act unethically in employing them in what most reasonable people would consider slave like conditions of abuse and low wages.
The problem with liberals on this issue is that you don't like the laws and Trump EXECUTING those laws, which is what he swore on a Bible to do at his Inauguration. My answer to that is then let's change the laws. But don't become a criminal yourself and break the law by aiding and abetting criminals and fugitives from justice. That is what people in 3rd world countries do. We are a peaceful, law abiding nation. If people can't live within those rules, then I'd say it is time for them to get politically active WITHIN the law to change the laws they don't like or else leave the country. But stop the lawlessness. |
