You avoid political discussions with liberals because you'd get your ass kicked. We had balanced budgets after a tax increase, not after a tax cut. Tax cuts under Reagan, Bush 41, Bush 43 and Trump resulted in record deficits. Reagan nearly tripled the debt and "fiscal conservatives" looked the other way.

How can a conservative defend failure? By keeping his mouth shut.
