You are right to a certain extent...about Comey breaking rules and it's impact on my opinion. However, it wasn't just Comey. It started with Obama, Lynch, Comey, and Strokz, and expanded to Rosenstein and Mueller and the whole charade of a witch hunt they have engaged in, including basing the whole thing on Hillary procured oppo research from former KGB agents. They are throwing pasta at the wall to see what sticks. That is not justice and it flies in the face of EVERYTHING our justice system was built on.
One thing I quickly learned in managing businesses at the macro scale is this. If you want to predict success in any part of the business, then take a look at their decision making processes and criteria. If the processes are sound, logical, and minimize assumptions, and have criteria based on observable facts, then the probability of success is maximized. If the process is a disaster, then I would never bet on its success. That's what I've seen in the investigation of Hillary and Trump. The whole process is guaranteed to fail at creating the two basic outcomes we all want: truth and justice. The process is opaque, secretive, designed to confuse, without logical repeatable criteria for what is a crime and what isn't. It doesn't have a defined scope that is adhered to, but morphs based on the whims and biases of those involved. The aim isn't to prosecute Trump for a crime related to unfair election processes and colluding with Russia on that, but rather the aim is to "get Trump" and whatever they can make stick will be just fine and dandy.
Everything about this process is corrupt. Only highly biased people would say otherwise. |
