All: At a very fundamental level...

I was reminded by the annual report that APM has been around for 40 years. I doubt that they've been in the HD component business for that long, but maybe they have. Clearly, Mr Crisman hasn't been at the helm for all that time. A quick look at 10 years of the stock price shows that confidence in them goes up and down.

Is there reason to think that this time is the last one, and that they're finally on the skids? Is there reason to believe that the board is able to find solutions during hard times? Maybe the company is so changed from before that there's no comparison between now and their recovery from <$3.00 in 1995.

I, for one, still believe that HD components will still have to be made, NPCs notwithstanding. Whether the RDRT/APM/HTCH/etc industry will stand alone is a different matter, let alone the individual firms that make up the group.

Love to hear opinions.
