The days of an education assuring one's income (such that they are in the middle class) was pretty much a myth.

My best and longest best friend quit high school and went into the Army at the age of 15 (he and his mother lied on his enlistment application). He was a son of a man that had left his mother (and she subsequently remarried to a mean drunk). He enlisted to get away from an abusive home.

My friend now runs a multimillion dollar grading business.

He was a hard worker, (had zero wealth in the beginning) and now has two homes and a great business.

It is and always has been about persistence AND DEDICATION TO A GOAL!

There are a lot of trust fund titty babies out there - no doubt.

Calvin Coolidge had it right!

Wealth is seldom achieved without a passion to be the best in whatever endeavor one pursues.
