It's not ok for their to be bias in legal proceedings. It's why we have laws and precedent that seeks to minimize bias by throwing out fruit of the poisoned vine and vacating judgements and other remedies for bias. You don't seem to know much about the legal sphere, but in this country, we believe in our citizens abiding by the law.
