TO ALL,

The GERN is fun for most of us in this thread. However, it is a big fun for the market makers yestoday. They made big money by manipulation of the price to cut our profit. As all of us saw the price opened at $16 3/4 and $16 7/8 then dropped to $15 1/2 within two mins, then move back to $16 7/8. I wonder how many investor sold their shares over $16 1/2 and how many brought belowe $16 1/2 in that two mins druing market open.

I set the limite order to sell my long at $16 half hour before market open but my order was filled $16 3/16 at 9:32 EST. my understanding is my limite order should be changed to market order automaticly before market open since the bid price is high than my limite price. However, the market maker told me that the market orders set before market open have priority over me. Can any one enlight me in this matter? Thanks.
