Actually she was not his girlfriend, they split up in 2014 and went the own ways and 2 styles of singing. Jonathan has been on his own and really getting popular, he is playing in California in September 2018.

I remember from a documentary on YouTube right after BGT when they both met a famous Tenor in Paris, to give them lessons, he said to Jonathan there was nothing to improve, he was so impressed with his voice and said in time he will sing with the best of the best.
