For starters, I'll take issue with 4) and 5) in your post. Oracle has been giving, on some range of accounts, both DMD (Direct Marketing Division, telesales) and the field sales force CREDIT for a sale. In my experience, that means that if I order product from DMD or from my local sales rep, the both get to count the sale against their quota and share the commission, regardless of who writes the order. This is very different from BOOKING the sale twice. I doubt that the revenue from your $50K sale becomes 100K on the books. If you have something other than rumors to base this on, I suggest you contact the SEC and perhaps the nice bunch of attorneys who have filed the class action suit against Oracle. We're talking criminal activity here. Personally, I think you have turned Oracle's method for getting DMD and the field sales force working together into securities fraud.

Ditto the allegations concerning Larry's sex life. Didn't the last secretary he had an affair with just get convicted for fabricating evidence in her sex discrimination suit against Oracle? As far as his "coke" problem: have you sold to, bought from, used with or otherwise witnessed Larry using drugs? If you have, let's see something more that the rumour mill to back it up. If not, stop slandering the man. You don't have to like him, or his lifestyle, or his obsession with things Japanese, or fast cars, or fighter aircraft, or massively parallel processors. If you think he can't focus on the business because his personal life interferes with his job, just say so.

Also, regarding your first point: Do you think that when a company buys SAP or BAAN or Peoplesoft and do not install on an existing database they get the database for free? Why should I pay Oracle for a database to run my Peoplesoft application when I can get a free database with every Peoplesoft purchase! You get what you pay for. If you buy a solution with an included database, you pay the solutions provider for the database. And guess who the solutions provider pays...
