May be of interest; Just spoke with my nephew who has a charter air service with some stiff wing craft and three helicopters . Says he was in to Galore. There is still all the equipment Loaders, excavators cat transportation vehicles Generators ect. in there that was flown in with the big Russian chopper. Says the equipment is still as good as it was when it was flown in. It has been attended to as part of the care and maintenance program.

Teck/ NG had a equipment auction a few years back at the 36km Equipment sold there was basically what was used at the load out terminal and some of which was used in building the first 40km of access road. The majority of what was sold was purchased by the Tahltan, or Tahltan joint venture companies. The remainder, A few big generators and compressors were trucked to Ritchie Brothers auction site in Prince George.
I personally was at that auction where we picked up a Kenworth truck put in the same auction from another company .

So it appears there is still ample equipment at the Galore mine site to carry out much of the work they have planned there. Under the care program the machinery would have been started and moved around a bit at set intervals to prevent seals from drying out or part seizure from corrosion and rust. We do the same with our own equipment when it is left idle for extended periods.
