When a republican votes for a party that spends decades promising to the balance the budget and failing every time, there's no way anyone can call them intelligent. Failure on the issue they hold dear for decades is not normal.

You seem to think Dems did something wrong. You don't say what they did wrong. You can't. It's in your nature to blame them for things your party did.
