The star is probably ILMN, more than a 100 bagger, mentioned in August of '04 at $3, now $300. LOXO should be very close. When Rick pointed to it a bit over three years ago it was ~$20, and it peaked at $208 recently. INCY from 2001 or 2001 well over a 20 bagger at one recent point. NBIX from 2010, nearly a 20 bagger. It may have been introduced before that (search function only goes back so far, but thread started on '01), so perhaps even more than 8 years of patience was required since it was first introduced, and it's possible it started higher on that first introduction. Let's see VPHM would qualify, first introduced here at a bit over $1.5, went to $50 on takeout by Shire. ALXN, from $4 and change in late '02 to 50 bagger a couple of years ago. ALNY from late '04 a 12 bagger, I think IONS as well. CELG a 10 bagger from '05. BCRX from '03 to '06 might be close. SGEN from mid '03 a 15 bagger. PRAN from '05 to '14, barely a 10 bagger, or at least close. Possibly LGND, EXAS.

There must be more, taken over perhaps, that are harder to search on, such as ITMN, IMCL, AMEV, DNDN, SEPR, ARIA, ELN, PCYC, MEDX, CATB (Cambridge Antibody, the source of Humira), CBST, etc.

Cheers, Tuck
