El Matador has been sucked into the trap set for intelligent people. You were likely one of the most intelligent in your childhood and came to believe your own self importance and brilliance. Less intelligent people learn early on that their understanding is very limited compared with others so develop a circumspect attitude to their personal glory so are more likely to think they might be wrong. Intelligence is a necessary but not sufficient condition to doing well. Avoiding that trap is more important. Mqurice
