People believe in God, and pray (i.e., "do something with urgency") armed with far, far, far less evidence. The experts in our society all have decades of photos of retreating ice sheets, centuries of rising temperature measurements, decades of increasing CO2 measured by every country in the world (including China), and sound theoretical and empirical models. But Dear Leader says it is a "hoax". The apologists (for him and others of his ilk) say this is fraud (a socialist agenda to support scientists) or at most, simply correlated and not causational. You grudgingly admit there may be an effect but say it is nothing to be concerned about with allusions to injuries not needing ambulances. You offer no data yourself for this position but ask those who do have spent time studying the peer reviewed data to dissuade you from holding your ill-founded beliefs. Wow. The hubris. This would be like me telling you how your dog behaves during a thunderstorm, knowing neither you, your dog or the severity of the thunderstorms near you. Aren't opinions great?
