Joe takes the blame for lots of stuff, but he had absolutely no blame for the choice of this appellate attorney. The Chicago law firm who had the case on contingency is to blame. And they blew any chance at recovery by using this guy. I don't even want to discuss this because I can still hear that lawyer's cringe-worthy voice in my head. God, he was awful.
