I think almost everyone believes the west was the aggressor in all Muslim conflicts. The only ones that dealt with Muslims effectively and only for a short period of time was the Mongols. Genghis Khan enjoyed housing his little horses in their mosques, using their rule-book for bedding. May we all live to see that glory again!
