I had to delay the closing of our house for a little over a month because of all the inessential stuff we accumulated over the years. We had a couple of estate sales and we still ended up throwing out half the stuff. We had to hire movers to get rid of all the junk, the file cabinets and paper. We saved every piece of paper, statement and bill over the years. Now just about everything is paperless billing. I had 3 cars and got rid of two at a good price on cars.com. Sold them immediately. We even recently got rid of our boob tubes ( TVs), cable connection too. All unnecessary. I use thinkorswim on my smartphones. If I was a day trader, I would need more. But it is all unnecessary. Netflix on a smartphone is great.
