| | | I've always been a fiscal and monetary conservative. When there are deficit creating actions, I've always complained about it. I see no valid reasons to run deficits, not even for tax cuts. I've publicly said on these threads that Trump's tax cuts were not a good idea on the whole, but if we had to have tax cuts, some of it was pretty good, like the corporate cash repatriation breaks.
So now you know, I will always be VERY conservative on fiscal and monetary policies, because I believe in the laws of mathematics. But when you start playing these games of Obama was so great and it wasn't his fault that all that debt sprung to life and how Trump is such a bad man because he's exploding the debt, well, I will call you on your bullshit every time.
The one thing that has been displayed CONSISTENTLY, is how malleable you and the other libs on these threads are with your values. You will defend racists like Jeong of the NYT, even though she says despicable things about white people. This shows that despite all your much ballyhooed liberal ideals of equality for the races, you think nothing of tearing down one of the races. Then you defend a criminal like Hillary, even though we have proof of her Russia Collusion, but then you go all unhinged at zero evidence of Trump Russia Collusion. Your inconsistencies are legion and as far as economics or fiscal or monetary policy, I will almost never agree with Socialism or Communism, because those defy the laws of mathematics and human nature. They never work in real life, except to destroy freedom and impoverish the people who voted for it. So why would I ever listen the Democrats, who have now embraced Socialism? On this issue alone, the Democrats may very well make it very difficult for me to vote for them again. You guys better figure out a way to come back from the brink of Socialism if you want any centrists or moderates to vote for your party again. |
