I am sure you have a very nice service where the " big boys" pay 10K a year with the hope of making 500k -1m if not more. The only 10K contributions I give are to charities. I am a small fry, a punk in a world of big fish in the US stock market. But that's fine with me. I invest in equities that the "big boys" won't go near because it is not liquid enough for them. That is their loss and my gain.
It might not seem much to you, but in the 90s I subscribed to Smart Money for $25 a year, took their annual picks and turned that into $25K-50K. And I had little to no aggravation or tension either because I was too naive or stupid to think differently, that I could lose.
I had bladder cancer at the age of 23. The urologists said the cancer would come back. I didn't worry about that for one second until the day I got tested again. I lived my life, enjoyed my family and business and didn't have time to worry. Some called me a Polyanna. Others here on SI would call me a Clown. But guess what, I won, I beat cancer and made money in the stock market with little to any sweat. Today, I am wiser so I sweat and worry.
