This is a known issue with E-Verify, but legislation that would require all employers to use E-Verify introduced by Rep. Lamar Smith (R-Texas) in the House and Sen. Social Security Administration's employment verification service is NOT the same as E-Verify. E-verify is a system by the Department of Homeland Security designed to catch lying a-holes like that.
