Sessions hits back at Trump over Justice Department criticism Its pretty ironic that if America is saved from President Wet Noodle it'll probably be conservatives that do it. Most of them can't stomach him anymore... most of them in Congress are cowards who fear another "Night of the Long Knives." They hate him but live in fear. Senator John Cornyn, the upper chamber’s second-ranking Republican, defended Sessions, a former Senate colleague, as an “honorable man” dedicated to the rule of law. Some are patriots though. A few brave men. This is the kind of guy trump is. He hired Sessions not because he felt loyalty to the Constitution, or that he was competent, but because he was loyal to trump. This is similar to after the Night of the Long Knives when Germans stopped swearing loyalty to Germany and were forced to swear loyalty to Hitler. "You know the only reason I gave him the job? Because I felt loyalty, he was an original supporter." trump Jeff Sessions: US attorney general hits back at Trump Manafort gambled that trump will pardon him... even though his crimes (so far) had nothing to do with trump... right... so what is the rational? The rest of the swamp rats are jumping ship while they still can. Keep in mind always... I can't stand the Clintons. I'm a libertarian.
