Geron (GERN) up almost 30% on volume and no news. The big short term question here is "will Imetelstat be returned to them?" Partner J&J has a few weeks to decide. Data versus competing programs, especially wrt safety, suggests to me, probably will be returned. So this looks more like a short to me than a long, but it's highly binary. So does this move imply "Somebody knows something?" And it's positive? Beats me. No position at present.

Edit: Apparently the spike is due to a job posting at J&J that mentions the drug.

So the portfolio includes Imbruciva and Imetelstat. Hmm.
