GM,

That came out yesterday with little mention in the press. Last summer, this would have been good for 3 points for AMAT, but now it's as if the street is assuming the FAB will be pushed out come groundbreaking. I haven't noticed a change in sentiment, although some have said that after INTC's earnings announcement people were getting too bullish. Where are these people? They obviously aren't buying AMAT.

Basically, I am very bullish on AMAT and in particular our sector, but am not going to bank on a surge anytime soon. I'll believe it when I see it. Our markets are still trading in tandem with the SEA markets. Until we decouple from their markets and a change of sentiment takes place regarding U.S. equities, I don't see much upside. Sometime this year, but probably not anytime soon. I hope this isn't true, since I am long in a BIG way and any advance would be a lessening of my losses since last August. When will we see upside volatility? My ticker can't take much more of this<G>

Regards,

Brian
