Well, no one knows exactly what the future plans are for 3D Realms and Duke Nukem but I doubt that Duke is going to be abandoned any time soon. There is just too much money to be made with a Duke title. Personally, G.O.D could cause some problems i.e. the bids go up but thus far I'm not that impressed with their entry lineup of creators. 3D Realms' #1 title is wrapped up by GT, GT owns Unreal which so far hasn't made a dime for anyone. The others are small time and that's what I gather from G.O.D's press release--that they want a first shot at any ground breaking developments. What I want to know is what Cavedog will be up to next. So far, without bias, Total Annihilation was the most dazzling of last year's lineups. Now, I wish these guys would do an RPG. I think it would be a big money maker.
