Last ThinkPad I bought was 3600 dollars, I needed it for work, got a docking station for it that was about 450 on top of the price. I still have the machine never parting with it. Only thing I had a problem with was Lenovo tech support was piss poor. The machines are solid but the support at that time was horrible. This was around 10 years ago.
