Yes, I made the money to start SOES trading by position trading in the futures market over the last year. My plan was to apply the rules I use to stocks also. Personnally, I'm not happy sitting home alone all day trading. I was looking for a place to go and trade. Of the SOES offices in my area, only Block was willing to let me put on 5-10 trades a day.

Overall, I'm pleased with Block. They presented thier requirements up front, I agreed to them. They've lived up to their end. I'm to the point where I'm spending 10 hours a day(off days) and 4 hours(normal job days) on this - prep work & studing & trading(training station) and not seeing any results($$$). This has been going on now for weeks. I find it difficult to believe that all these other traders did this. I have alot of friends that talk about trading early in the morning before work or on their off days, but they could never go through this.

I posted my first message because I was curious about the requirements most traders have to fullfill before trading. From the personal responses I got - my situation is highly unusual. Maybe that is because of the trading style I use? I don't know.

I'm almost there - in a couple of weeks I'll be live. We'll see after that how good I am. Then I can set the requirements. I'll keep all the responses I got - if the runarounds continue I'll switch to someone who wants my business.
