Hi again, Linda.

<<I can conclude from this superficial view that sometimes these larger companies make a mistake.>>

Of course you are absolutely correct. Big pharms make mistakes- many mistakes. This is clear by the number of times a pharm holds the hand of a small company and walks them through the approval process only to be rejected in the end. But that's not what is being charged here- that SGP may have made a poor bet with respect to Vasomax remains to be determined by whether the FDA accepts or rejects the application. I don't pretend to understand well enough the workings of the FDA nor of Vasomax itself to make a good judgment on whether Vasomax will be aproved- but what I do know is that the odds are in its favor purely on the basis of the completion of successful Phase III trials carried out by a highly reputable firm (Pharmco).

So again, yes, I believe it is very possible that SGP could have made a mistake- however, what I think is ridiculously unlikely is that SGP/the other pharms made/were willing to make, respectively, million dollar deals on a product which had a formulation about which they knew nothing (but which Asensio tells us is publicly available information). Furthermore, several posters think that merely by looking at these ingredients a sophomore student taking Biochem 202 can tell that the product won't work and yet the Bozos at SGP and the other pharms couldn't figure it out..

Take care.
