[CHAT] Hi, Carl... This is pretty funny. You just subscribed to Quotes-Plus and I just subscribed to NAQ (ITrader) Real-Time Quotes. I'm waiting for them to get back to me with the procedure for access.
>>Just downloaded I trader, KISS IT AINT..<< Your using the free delayed time, right? If so, I know, it would be "nice" if they gave you a "Help" Feature ... but then again ... (it's "free"). I likened my arrival at ITrader to being a foreigner driving in Manhattan for the first time and trying to get to Bleeker Street without a map (I know, Taxi, nothing to it!).
It looks more complicated than it is... gotta play around with it. Today (and yesterday) they've been having a problem providing all the stock data. This has been a problem in the past along with server access problems. Some days your in heaven with the system and some days it's absolute "HELL" (but then again...so's life, no?).
I'm going to give Real Time a shot and see if the service is any more reliable if I pay for it.
The one thing I found pretty neat was the composite pages because I could flip back and forth between charts and quotes. Nice historical portfolio features too (liked the way it kept the transactions and summaries.
Tip: Don't put more than, say, 15 stocks per quote page. I did this (maybe I had 20+) and had all kinds of problems ... had to delete and start over.
Tip: In the past, I found AMY to be more reliable than Cindy ... but then again, I haven't used Cindy much lately.
If you got any ???, I'll help if I can.
Also, there is an Internet Trader thread on SI: exchange2000.com
You should be able to connect to SI by just pulling up another window. You should stay connected and even if you're in another program you should still here the alarms you set up for your stocks.

P.S. Let me know how Q+ works out. I tried to download the demo a while back but had a lot of problems ... no time so I took the easy route. Should probably look into it again...
