| | | davegreen, did you really think Joe would back up what he stated in the cc about an announcement in a specific timeframe? I was joking when I said it would be unprecedented if it did happen. That's why I was hoping they would forego the post earnings report cc, nothing fruitful comes out of the comments. Although he did accomplish what he wanted with his "announcement comment". I don't know if he made that comment intentionally, but I do recognize that symptom because I grew up with parents that no matter what the question put forward to them, they gave an answer whether it was correct or not. It took me years to understand that it was ok to reply, "I don't know the answer". I would never trade my parents, but to conceive the idea that they didn't know the answer to something was not an option. Whether it was the licensee that didn't come through or Joe was just making it up, all he needed to confirm was the investment made and he didn't know when the news would be made public. Auger quoted Gentex management stating they would not have a marketable architectural product for at least a couple years. How hard was that?
I know, I'll be called a short or pessimist. But actually, as long as I've been invested in this company, I'm quite an optimists, but also a realist. Two things matter here: revenues and integrity. |
