Ed - some of us are old timers on Ashton. Here's something from May.
***Fundamentals do we have fundamentals!!!!...... Although I didn't get to the annual ACA mtg in Vancouver, this is what comes to mind -easy access to properties, as opposed to helicopter to NWT - work on ground year round, except perhaps in April/May to protect roads - good climate, not quite as cold as NWT - no polar bears - helicopter support not quite as essential as in NWT - drive to many drill sites - targets easily identified above backgraound - good infrastructures nearby - good score so far on kimberlites/target 100% so far - good score so far on diamonds per kimberlite, 100% also on first 3 pipes - no of macros in ballpark with other - no of micros in ballpark with other - good size of pipes - well formed pipes - do not appear to be eroded away and scattered all over the continent - gem quality, don't know - lots of targets - lots of land - well funded - not too many shares out - good senior partners AML AEC - experienced management, all partners - own labs, 1 in Vancouver, 1 in Australia - shouldn't be any land claim problems - good mining law setup - other projects in NWT - good position for future financing, actually either major could finance - good share distribution - a parent company already has control so can't be a hostile takeover - not much share float - trustworthy
We didn't do a bad job back there, and Ashton is still working hard to find a diamond mine, along with many others now.
The above is all still very valid, perhaps even more so today. |
