Drunk men jailed ‘after being beaten up by 10-inch squirrel monkeys’ when they climbed into their zoo enclosure to steal one Three DRUNK men were been beaten up by a pack of tiny monkeys after breaking into a zoo to try to catch one. Shoot-himself ,Lil Weiner and Ground Round snuck through the gates at Wellington Zoo to snatch one of the 10-inch tall squirrel monkeys - only to be discovered with a broken leg, severe facial lacerations, and their pants missing... It remains unclear exactly how the "high as a kite" old men were left so badly injured....but squirrel monkeys have been known to sexually attack humans if they feel threatened.
