New Zealand citizenship is for sale. It's not an allegation. The word allegation implies there is something wrong with selling citizenships.

The only thing wrong with the sale is that it's not a tradable property right if you change your mind, die or simply decide to sell it at a profit.

So of course the sale price is lower than if it was actually a property right. They could be sold at 2 or 3 times the price if they were tradable. They would also zoom in price when people vote for things that enhance the value.

If they were tradable NZ could sell 10,000 per year at $2 million each in perpetuity. $20 billion per year would see a huge increase in NZ's value as motorways, airports, power stations and all sorts could be built.

Soon the price would be $4 million as hordes bid for rights to live here and to possess the most valuable citizenship.
